1993+

Born in the Idaho resort town of Sun Valley, Taylor spent the majority of his childhood in Boise. From his mother, an artist, and his father, a homebuilder, he gained a unique passion for creative projects of all kinds. His first business endeavor was in the 2nd grade selling handmade holiday cards, donating a portion of profits to proactive efforts against child abuse.

 

Attending Boise High School, participation in sports and student government bore him strong qualities of teamwork, leadership and relationship building. From MC'ing  such events as the 'Brave Man Auction' and the annual talent show, he yearned for more opportunities to share his personality with crowds. Persevering through times that challenged his optimism, he found renewed joy and compassion in supporting his friends and family.

2012+

Attending the University of Portland on scholarship, Taylor immersed himself in college culture. His freshman, sophomore and junior years he performed in the Villa Maria Man Auction before an audience of 1,000.

Junior year, Taylor was accepted into the prestigious Entrepreneurial Scholars Program, enabling him to travel to Denver, New York City, and Sweden to network with experts in his field. His yearlong project, Little Oasis, explored merging the need for innovative senior living solutions and the Tiny House Movement.

2016+

Graduated May 2016, Taylor immediately traveled to India to work at Mother Teresa's Sacred Heart Charity in "Prem Dan," a house for the destitute and dying. After returning to the States, he embarked on an 8-day backpacking trek on Mt. Rainier's 'Wonderland Trail,' which became a character defining experience both physically and mentally.

Taylor is living in San Diego, CA working for a non-profit devoted to bringing the world's most innovative medical devices & techniques to underprivileged communities around the world, bridging his passions for community service and purposeful travel with his education and training in business operations + leadership.
